Care & Use

This page offers guidance on how these objects are meant to live — how to care for them, how orders are handled, and what to expect along the way.

Orders & Shipping

Pieces are made in small batches or to order.

Please allow additional time for production before shipping, especially for made-to-order items. Estimated timelines are noted on individual product pages.

Orders are shipped with care from the United States. Shipping rates and options are calculated at checkout. Once an order ships, tracking information will be provided.

Returns

Because many pieces are made to order or produced in limited quantities, returns are handled with care and consideration.

If you have concerns about your order, please reach out within a reasonable timeframe so we can discuss next steps. Items showing normal signs of wear or variation consistent with the making process are not considered defective.

Care & Use

These objects are made to be used regularly and to age over time. Variation in material, finish, and wear is not a flaw, but part of how each piece develops its own history.

Jewelry

Pearls, gemstones, and metals respond best to gentle handling.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfume, and lotions

  • Put jewelry on after getting dressed, and remove before sleeping

  • Store pieces separately to prevent abrasion

Pearls may soften slightly with wear; metals may patina. These changes are natural and expected.

Brass Objects

Brass will develop a patina through handling and exposure to air.

  • Clean with a soft, dry cloth

  • If desired, polish lightly to restore brightness

  • Signs of use and wear are welcomed

Brass objects are intended for everyday handling, not permanent display.

Textiles

Textiles are made from natural or blended fibers and are intended for repeated use.

  • Avoid prolonged moisture

  • Spot clean gently when needed

  • Fibers will soften and relax with time

Variation in weave and tone is expected, especially in handwoven materials.
